Just leaving Eilat now and wanted to immediately give the best possible review to Nautilus Red Sea diving with Lavrenti/Lavrik/Lawrence. My son and I are certified open water divers but had not been diving for a couple of years. Lavrik was not available on Sunday to do a refresher dive, so we did it at another local shop near The Caves site. It was pretty good and I have no complaints about them. We did the refresher dive in the morning and another fun dive in the afternoon. Very pleasant, but nothing inspiring.The next day we met up with Lavrik at Marina Dive Club which was right next to The Herbert Samuel Reef Hotel where we were staying. He knew that we wanted to get in as much diving as possible because I was leaving the next day. I had booked 2 day dives and 1 night dive. He suggested we get Nitrox certified so we could dive with less fatigue, and it seemed like a good idea. He gave us a short lecture in the classroom which was clear, interesting and easy to follow and then we did a dive in the Nature Reserve. It was really amazing. He made us feel so comfortable and confident. He corrected us where needed it, and gave us some pointers which really helped. My feet were hurting after the first dive from walking on the rocks with the thin diving boots and I expressed interest in buying boots with thicker soles. There were none in stock at Marina so he took me to 3 differrent dive shops in the break between dives until we found the booties that he recommended which were reasonably priced (including a discout which he gets as a frequent customer) and made a big difference for the rest of the day. I also bought good masks on his recommendation, which were the same masks he rented us, but I liked them so much I wanted to have them for future trips. He showed us how to prep the new masks with toothpaste to prevent fogging which I never would have know to do.Went out for our second dive to a wreck site which was truly awesome. Amazing fish everywhere. The wreck was fascinating. It was the deepest dive we have done and pushed the limits of what open water certification allows, but we felt comfortable an confident the whole time.At that point, we were supposed to take a break until our planned night dive that evening but we were so pumped with our first dives that we wanted to squeeze in one more, so he agreed and, after a more than adequate break for lunch back at the hotel, took us out to a site called The Pipes. This was truly awe inspiring. Hopefully I will be able to include some pics when he sends them because words do not do it justice.We had a short break again before dusk and then went back to the Caves site where we had been with our prevoius guide. He gave us another short lecture on how to use the lights and how to signal each other and read out air guages in the dark, and we walked out just as dusk was falling. This dive was one of the most incredible experiences I have had! The light played off the fish so beautifully and the fish just seemed to come out of nowhere. Lavrik seemed to be able to find way more and bigger reefs than our previous guide, and because of the instruction he had given us, we were able to easily traverse the tunnels under and between the reefs. The only work I can think of that fits is "magical".It was late by that point and Marina was closed but he had the key so we were ably to shower ourselves out of our wetsuits and put away the gear. He met me the next morning and gave us logbooks to log our dives so we can work toward the fourty we need to do a deep water course. I never would have even considered that a goal before this experience, but now it is on my bucket list. I am definitely planning on going back to Eilat to get my advanced open water certification with Lavrik.In short, the whole experience was top notch and way better than I expected. Nautilus Red Sea has earned my most enthusiastic recommendation and profound thanks!

Its very clear Lawrence loves diving, and he is very good at teaching it. He teaches clearly while also making sure the dives are fun at the same time. He has good gear, a good location and all around a very nice dive shop. would definitely recommend!

We showed up spontaneously and were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. With my background in intensive diving, I really appreciated the high standards here. My kids and I did two 40-minute dives (5–9 meters), saw a variety of marine life, and got amazing underwater photos taken by our instructor. The facilities were spotless, the showers clean, and access to the water was super convenient. A fantastic, safe, and family-friendly diving experience—highly recommended!

If you are gonna dive in Eilat definitely do it with Lawrence! You get 1:1 instruction, and Lawrence will make you feel so safe and comfortable and patiently teach you all the skills you need to know. I got my open water certification with Lawrence and it was so much fun! Saw so many amazing animals in the sea.

Lavrik from Nautilus was the best instructor I've ever had. I took the Nitrox as well as a few adventure dive courses with him and he went above and beyond making sure we understood the material. He is a seasoned veteran and leverages over 23 years of diving experience to make sure his clients are safe and having fun! It was the best adventure! A fantastic experience, I chose the right place for sure. The instructor, Lavrenty, is a professional, he knows his business well, he explained clearly every aspect and made sure I understood; very friendly and genuine as a person. I did my advance open water certificatation with Lavrik, he was patient, professional and pleasant. There are many dive instructors who could get you certified but Lavrik also makes sure to actually teach both safety and diving best practices. It's also worth adding that since the school doesn't rent equipment out except for courses, the equipment is top notch. Lavrik also taught us how to take care of the equipment, so anyone who thinks they might buy their own equipment one day gets a bonus lesson that's worth a lot.I've been to other schools in Eilat, with worse instructors and worse equipment. I highly recommend doing courses and certifications at Nautilus.

My husband and I just went diving with Lawrence and we would highly recommend this experience. I had never dived before and was a little nervous but felt very safe and after a couple of minutes confident with what I was doing. We had an incredible time and it’s definitely worth doing if in Eilat, the views were clear and we saw a lot of fish, coral and sea life. Amazing experience made the better by Lawrence. He was clear with his instructions and always checked in to make sure we were okay. Highly recommend.

Just finished another day diving with Lavrik.For the past 8 years been going back to the club and enjoying its verity of diving options. This time took two friends with me and tried the “discover scuba”.As always Lavrik has a ton of experience in the diving world and when he’s knowledge is combined with high teaching skills you just can’t go wrong.The day went great and we had a blast.With Nautilus Redsea you get a great experience and most importantly, you get back home safe.

Just look at the smiles in the attached photo - that should tell you all you need to know. But here's a little more - all of my kids have said that scuba diving with Lawrence was by far the highlight of their stay in Israel. None of them had been diving before and were nervous. Lawrence was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and confident with them, which put them all at ease. Not only did they have an amazing time under the water while observing gorgeous sea life, but they also learned a lot as part of the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience. Not to mention, Lawrence has an amazing underwater camera that captured our experience beautifully; it was great that we could focus on enjoying the dive while he snapped fantastic photos for us.

If you are diving for the first time, or you are looking for a place to connect with locals and get the best of the area, here is the place. Lawrence is great on teaching you the steps and tricks that would probably take years for you to learn on your on. I must say that you should add the photo optional. They have a super camera and you will be able to show the red sea spectacle to everyone.

Lavrick was a consummate professional who gave thorough and skilful instruction throughout the course I booked. My husband, who is a certified advanced open water diver, attended with me to refresh and learned things he did not know despite having over 100 dives. My first ever experience of diving with Nautilus Red Sea was out of the world. Lawrence is an amazing instructor and guides really well. His patience with beginners is worth a mention. The entire dive was memorable, and he knew his way about the waters, taking us to the exact right spots to spot the beautiful marine life and the coral reefs in the Red Sea. Was worth every penny and would definitely recommend their services to anyone visiting Eilat and looking to dive.

6 april jl. hebben mijn vriend en ik twee duiken gedaan onder begeleiding van Lawrence, en het was onvergetelijk! Lawrence is zeer professioneel en geeft goede en duidelijke uitleg. Ook het materiaal is van goede kwaliteit en werd zorgvuldigheid gebruikt. Gedurende de twee duiken hebben wij vele soorten vissen mogen zien, verder hadden wij het geluk dolfijnen te mogen aanschouwen en Lawrence was snel genoeg om dit vast te leggen met zijn camera! Lawrence, nogmaals dank!

Went for 3 dives in April, including 1 night dive.Everything went smoothly and the instructor was patient, caring and interested in the safety of us all, as well as the sustainability of the diving spots in an area crowded with divers. It was not always easy as many divers consider the activity as a pure transactional one when it is actually an extreme sport where safety relies on trust and team work.Night diving was an incredible experience and we got to sea juvenile and adult squids, Lionfishes' peculiar hunting techniques, juvenile and adult octopuses and their peculiar hiding and escape techniques, nudibranches, limited but still beautiful bioluminescence, fish and crustaceans sleeping, many clownfishes in their anemones, big blowfishes etc.All of this on top of a wonderful shipwreck and dolphins during the day.Highly recommend

We had 2 fun dives with Lawrence and it was fantastic. Liked his dry humor, his advices all around diving and his calmness. Also I recommend to go for the underwater photographs - they are stellar.Had nothing to complain and would do it again.
